Using the hub

Account settings

Account → Settings is where an owner or an admin manages the account itself. Click your avatar at the bottom of the left menu, choose Account, then Settings. It is the second place in the Account menu, under Account Overview. Members and publishers do not see it.

Each card has its own save button and tells you beside it whether the save worked. A save that is refused says why and changes nothing.

Account settings

Your account name and web handle. The handle appears in links and must be unique; if someone has it already you are told, and nothing changes. Open the card's menu (the three dots) and choose Edit account details, then Save changes.

Budgets & storage

What the account stores and what it costs each month, plus two limits you can change: the storage quota in GB, and how many characters of a project's documents the AI is sent whole before it searches them instead. VeraGen sets a default for both and a maximum; you can choose lower or higher, up to the maximum. A value above the maximum is held to it, and the message after saving says so. Leave a field empty to use the default. Save with Save budgets.

Primary contact

A Name, Email and Phone for the person VeraGen should contact about this account. A field you leave blank falls back to the account owner, whose name and email are shown in the field so you can see what is used today. The phone number can use digits, spaces and + - ( ).

Billing email

One optional extra address, such as an accounts-payable mailbox, that also receives your monthly statements and your low-balance notices. The people who receive them already, the owner and billing admins for statements and the owners and admins for low-balance notices, still do. If the address is the same as one of theirs, that person gets one email, not two. Leave it empty to send only to them. Statements

Company details

Your Legal name, Website, Address and Tax or VAT number. The website must start with https:// or http://. They are printed at the top of your statements: the legal name when it differs from the account name, the address, and the tax number. A statement that has already been issued keeps what it was issued with.

> [!NOTE] > Your timezone is not an account setting. It belongs to each person, in My Profile → Settings.
