Odin, the hub assistant
Odin answers questions about the hub, and knows which page you are on. Click Ask Odin, or the round chat button, in the bottom-right corner.
Where it is
On every page except Chat & Research, which has its own AI built in.
What it does
| Answers about the page you are on | On a project it explains Context and the Brand Kit; in the workflow editor, the blocks. Each page suggests a few questions to start with. |
|---|---|
| Answers from this documentation | Odin reads the same Help you are reading, so its answers about roles, billing or publishing match what is written here. |
| Hands you prompts | Ask it to help build something and it gives you a prompt, ready to paste into Chat & Research or into Claude. |
Odin answers about VeraGen only. For anything else, it says so rather than guessing.
Typing or speaking
The message box starts two lines tall and grows as you write. Enter sends; Shift+Enter starts a new line. + attaches a screenshot or a PDF.
To speak instead, press the microphone and ask your question. When you pause, Odin turns what you said into text, sends it and answers — no second click. To check the words first, press the microphone again before you pause: the text is put in the box and waits for Send. A recording can be up to a minute; if nothing is heard for a few seconds, the microphone switches off by itself. The first time, your browser asks for permission to use the microphone; if it has been blocked, Odin says so and you can allow it in the browser's site settings.
Speaking works in any modern browser with a microphone, including browsers with no speech recognition of their own. The recording is turned into text by our own speech service and is not kept. It goes only to that service: unlike some browsers' built-in speech recognition, which sends your voice to the browser maker's servers. Turning speech into text uses a little credit, charged by the length of the recording (at least 15 seconds each time) and shown under Odin in Billing.
