Credit & how billing works
Your account has one prepaid balance that the whole team draws from, and usage is paid for from it. There is no per-app fee.
An account on a plan (Solo, Team or Business) also pays a monthly or annual subscription, and the balance works the same way alongside it: each paid month adds the plan's included AI usage to the balance, and whatever is left of it at the month's end expires. See Plans and the free trial. An account without a plan has no subscription: it pays only for what it uses.
What you pay for

Each charge appears in Observability → Usage with a label, on Billing grouped by person and by app, and on your monthly Statements.
Every app is included. There is nothing to buy, enable or upgrade — you pay for the usage itself, whichever app it came from.
How the balance works
- Usage draws from the shared balance. When it runs out, AI features pause until credit is added.
- The balance shows on your Dashboard whatever your role, so anyone can see how the account is doing.
- Seeing the balance and spending it are different permissions. Only the account owner, and an admin the owner has given billing access, can open Billing or add credit. Who can see and manage billing
- Owners and admins can set a monthly cap for each member, limiting how much of the balance that person can use each month.
- Automatic top-up can add credit from a saved card whenever the balance falls to a level you choose. Adding credit
Browsing is always free. Opening prototypes, organising content, downloading your files and leaving feedback never use credit.
