All training, and learning paths

Every Quick Quiz and course is built inside its own project. The account-wide Ascend page brings them together: every one of them across your projects, in one list, plus learning paths, which put quizzes and courses from any project into one ordered set you can assign.

To get there, open Ascend in any project and choose All projects & learning paths at the bottom of its menu, or press Manage training at the top of My learning. The page is for account owners, admins and publishers, the people who build training.

All training

All training lists every Quick Quiz and course in the projects you can open (owners and admins see every project). Each one shows its type, its project, whether it is published, and how many people it is assigned to. You can search by name, show only courses or only quizzes, or pick one project. Open takes you to it in its project, where it is edited.

Learning paths

A learning path is an ordered set of quizzes and courses, for example "New starter, week one": the handbook course from one project, then a safety quiz from another.

1. Open Learning paths and press New learning path. Give it a name and, if you like, a summary, then press Create path.
2. Under In this path, in order, choose a quiz or course from Add a quiz or course… and press Add. The arrows change the order, and Remove takes an item out of the path. The quiz or course itself is not changed.
3. Under Assigned to, tick the people it is for, choose a Due date if you want one, and press Assign path.

Everyone you assign is emailed. Everything in the path appears in their My learning, grouped under the path's name with how many items they have done. If one of the items was already assigned to someone on its own, it keeps its own due date.

Assigned to lists each person on the path and how far through they are, for example 2 of 3 done. Withdraw takes the path out of their My learning, along with everything it assigned them. Anything assigned to them separately stays, and so do their results.

Archive path withdraws the path from everyone and removes it from the list. The quizzes and courses in it are not changed. An account owner or admin can archive any path; anyone else can archive only the paths they created.

Who can assign a path

Assigning a path names people and shows how far through they are, so it follows the rule for results. Account owners and admins can assign any path. The person who created a path can assign it when they also created every quiz and course in it. Who can see results
