Writing pages with Odin
Odin can rewrite part of a page, write something new in it, or change the page from the Ask Odin pane. It always proposes: nothing changes until you accept, and nothing is published until you press Update.
Rewriting one part
- Hover a paragraph, heading, list or table and press the sparkle at its right edge — or, while editing, select text and press Write in the toolbar, or type / and choose Ask Odin.
- Choose what to do: Improve writing, Fix spelling and grammar, Make shorter, Make longer, Change tone, Turn into a table, Translate (pick a language, or Other… to type one), or write something new: Add a summary at the top, Suggest a title, Brainstorm ideas, Continue writing. Or type what you want.
- The proposal appears in place: new text in green, removed text struck through.
- Press Accept, Discard or Try again, or tell Odin what to change.
Translate translates the text you selected, or the whole paragraph, heading, list or table you pointed at, into the language you choose, keeping its formatting, links and mentions. Like every other choice it is a proposal: Accept puts the translation in place of the original.
Accepting while you are reading opens the editor with the change applied. It is published when you press Update.
Changing the page from Ask Odin
Press Ask Odin at the top of Data Management. The pane opens beside the page and stays open as you move between pages. It shows Context: Current Page: Odin reads the page you have open, including changes you have not published yet. Remove the chip to ask without the page.
Ask for a change — "Add a section about risks", "Make the introduction shorter", "Turn the pricing paragraph into a table", "Fix spelling on this page", "Add next steps with owners", "Rename the page to …" — and Odin makes it in the editor while you watch. A card in the pane lists each change, with Jump to and Undo, and Keep all and Undo all. The toolbar's Undo undoes Odin's changes too. When you press Update, the version is summarised as "Edited with Odin".
You can also ask about the page: summarise it, find open questions, or draft an email about it. Odin's answer lists the documents it used.
Odin writes from the page and from the project's documents that are available to the AI. Using it is charged like any other AI use on the account.
