Content review

Why something you published was held

VeraGen checks what is about to reach the public: stories on a news site, social posts published through Beacon, and the replies your chatbots give visitors. It looks for three things only: sexual content, graphic violence and illegal activity.

What it does not do

It is not a taste filter. War, protest, arrests, disaster, grief, medicine and crime reporting are ordinary subjects and pass. When the check is unsure, it allows.

What a hold looks like

A Beacon postShows as Held in the queue, with the reason. It is not a send failure, and trying again will not publish it.
A news storyIs not added to the site. The site's run history counts it under Skipped as held — not published, and the run's Log gives the reason.
A chatbot replyIs replaced with “I can't answer that one. Please try asking something else.”

Only VeraGen can release a hold; nobody in your account can, including the owner. If you think a hold is wrong, contact VeraGen support (hello@veragen.ai) to have it reviewed.

A suspended public profile

A profile suspended for review shows visitors “This profile is temporarily suspended while we review its content.” Nothing is deleted: the profile, charts and images are all still there. While the review is open, the profile cannot be made public again from your own settings. Contact support if you think it is wrong.
