Skunk Works settings

Skunk Works → Settings holds two things for the project. Anyone who can open the project can change them.

Key prefix

Every item's key is the project's prefix and a number, such as WR-12. Skunk Works suggests a prefix from the project's name the first time Skunk Works is opened in it.

  1. Type a new prefix: 2 to 6 letters or digits, starting with a letter.
  2. Click Save prefix.

The prefix is unique in your account: two projects cannot share one. When you change it, every key in the project changes with it, and the old keys still open the same items, so links you have already shared keep working. A prefix the project used before is not given to any other project in your account.

Labels

Labels sort items across the backlog and sprints, for example frontend, API or design. A project can have up to 30 labels of up to 24 characters each.

  • Type a label and click Add label.
  • Click × on a label to remove it. Removing a label takes it off every item that has it.

Add labels to an item from its panel, and filter by a label in the Backlog.
