AI Automations
Automation settings
AI Automations → Settings holds the defaults every automation in the project follows. Owners and admins can change them; everyone else can read them. Change what you need, then click Save settings (or Discard).
| Sender name (how your emails show in the inbox); Send from (VeraGen's sending address with your sender name, or Your own domain, once verified); Replies go to (the person who owns the contact, the sender address, or an address you type); the unsubscribe link added to every automated email unless you turn it off; and Count opens and clicks, shown in Run history and used by Wait for an email event. | |
| Your sending domain | The account's own domain to send from, set up by owners and admins: see Email in automations. Until it is verified, email goes from VeraGen's address. |
| Quiet hours | No texts between the times you set, in the contact's time zone or the business's (The business's time zone, also used for contacts whose time zone is not known), and optionally none at weekends. A text due in quiet hours waits until they end. Hold emails during quiet hours too does the same for email. |
| Consent and opt-outs | Only text contacts who have agreed to texts (their SMS consent, on their record in Thrive CRM). People who reply STOP are never texted again unless they reply START. |
| Sending limits | How many texts the account can send an hour and a day. Owners and admins change them with Save limits; they apply to every project. |
| Enrollment | Whether a contact can be in an automation Once at a time, Only once, ever, or Every time it starts, and the most automations one contact can be in at once. |
| When something fails | Who is told when a contact's run fails (the automation's owner, or owners and admins), by email, Slack or both, and how often (for every failure, at most once an hour, or at most once a day per automation). Test runs never send an alert. |
| Run history | How long step-by-step detail and the run list are kept, and whether personal details in the data that started a run are masked. |
| Who can do what | Who can publish, pause and delete automations, and who can build drafts. |
