Prototypes are in Chimp

A project's prototypes are in Chimp: open the project and choose Chimp under Create in the apps menu. The project's Prototypes button opens Chimp too.

  • Every prototype is there as a Prototype (design only) at the Design step, with all its comments and drawings, shown by the same review page. Old links to a prototype open it in Chimp.
  • To make a new one, choose New website or app, then More starting options → Prototype (design only). Chimp asks a few questions and its AI designer draws it.
  • To upload one you already have (an .html file, or a .zip with its images), click ⬆ Upload Prototype at the top of Chimp's list. It opens at the Design step. Upload a prototype to Chimp A prototype published to the project from Chat & Research joins the list the next time someone who can edit opens it.
  • A prototype in no project is listed under Prototypes not in a project yet at the foot of Chimp's list: Add to this project brings it in.
  • To turn one into a real website or app, approve its design and choose Continue to build.

See Design for reviewing a prototype with your team, and What is Chimp for the rest.
