Mercato
Bookings
Mercato → Bookings shows your services on a calendar, a week at a time. Every time is in the store's timezone (Settings → Timezone), wherever you or your customer are.

Services and Bookings2:35 videoHow free times are worked out
Each service's booking rules (Services) say which days and hours you take bookings, how far ahead they must be made, the gap you need after each one, and the most in a day. Times start every 30 minutes unless you change it in Settings → Bookings. A booking blocks its time and the gap after it.
By default the store has one calendar: a booking for one service blocks the same time for all of them. Untick One booking at a time across all services if your services can run side by side.
Two people can never book the same time: if two try at once, one gets it and the other is asked to choose another time.
Book someone
- Choose New booking.
- Find the customer in Thrive, or type their email and name.
- Choose the Service and the Day, then one of the free times.
- Choose Book.
Tick Outside the service's usual hours to book at any free time of day; a booked time is still never booked twice. The customer is emailed a confirmation with their own link.
On a booking
- Move… shows the free times on another day. The customer is emailed the new time unless you untick it.
- Mark done or They didn't come after the time.
- Cancel… frees the time. A deposit is not refunded by cancelling: refund it on its order.
Bookings from your website
Customers book on your website through its store key (Sell on your website), and answer the service's intake questions. A service with a deposit waits for the deposit: the customer pays it on a checkout page, and the booking is confirmed by the payment. A deposit not paid within 30 minutes lets the time go.
The customer's link
From their link a customer sees the booking, moves it to another free time, or cancels it, up to your cut-off: the number of hours before it that you set (Settings → Bookings, 24 by default). Closer to the time, the page asks them to contact you. To let customers cancel but not move a booking themselves, clear Customers may move their own booking in the same place.
